The Visiontac VGPS-700 is another small Bluetooth GPS receiver on the scene, just slightly larger than the Navicore Personal 2007 GPS. The gloss black receiver features the popular SiRF Star III chipset, and promises 17-20 hours of battery life.

LG looks to be entering the car entertainment market with the LAN-9600R, a GPS touchscreen DVD/CD/DIVX/MP3/everything player.

The GPS add on for the Sony PSP has been released, it looks nice and small, iot plugs into the top of the device, and looks to fold onto the back (not too sure of that). There are no mapping solutions available yet, but apparently there are a couple games that take advantage of the GPS functions, "Minna no Golf-jou," "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops," and "Planetarium Creator Ohira Takayuki Kanshuu: Home Star Portable. There are no details on exactly how the GPS interacts with the games, but it sure opens up a whole new aspect to gaming.

Emtac has released what they clam to be the world's smallest Bluetooth receiver, the Mini-S3. The Mini-S3 only Weighs 60 grams and is s pcoketable 67 x 48 x 18 mm. It features the popular SiRFstarIII chipset, and the user replacable battery is charged through the USB port. All this smallness comes at a reasonable price as well, for about $99 you can make one yours.

Busnell has released some details on three upcoming GPS devices, the ONIX 200, the ONIX 200 CR, and the NAV 500. From a greyscale simple unit like the Onix 200 all the way up to a color touchsreen model in the Nav 500, they provide a range of units for all uses.

DrewTech has enviled their new DashDAQ "data acquisition system, diagnostic tool" it looks to be aimed at the PC tuning market, with inputs for O2 sensors and the like, but also mentions uses such as car PC, video player and Mp3 player.

Here is a bit of a unique GPS system, it features a 30gb hard drive that contains actual satellite images to use for navigation rather than just displaying maps. It has a 5" touch screen that displays at 640x480, has a SD slot, and an FM transmitter to play voice commands on your stereo.
