Nintendo has created a special edition DS Lite to commemorate the release of Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. The white DS comes adorned with the Final Fantasy XII logo, along with characters from the game. Of course this special edition will only be available in Japan and eBay.
Who doesn't love a good rumor? They are all around these days, who is releasing what, when, how, and how big!! It seems that a presentation put on by Samsung for the release for their new 60GB version of their 1.8" hard drive had an interesting slide in it, a picture of a person with a device that is very similar to a PSP. Now it does seem to say "PMP" on the back of that device, but the shape and lines are hard to mistake for anything but the the Sony gaming machine. It would so rock if the next generation PSP has a 60GB hard drive, but I somehow doubt it.
I have often thought of building something like this for myself, grab a racing seat, throw together some sort of frame, and race till 4am! The Home Pro Racing Simulator does all of this, and allows room for a 42" plasma or LCD. The price is a bit high considering it doesn't include any electronics, but it sure is cool.
The great Folks over at Gizmodo have a nice first look at the DS-Xtreme media enhancer, it is basically a mod chip for a DS and DS lite, it allows you to run homebrew applications from it, movies, music, and of course "backup" copies of the DS games you already own.
Here is something very neat, you can play over 250 NES games in a web browser, no special software required. They play nice and smooth, and the sounds are great as well!
Lik Sang is allowing people to pre order the PS3 with no money down, you can choose from a US or a Japanese model, and you get a chance to opt out when the actual price comes available.
