It looks like Dell has added a new large widescreen monitor to their lineup, along with the upcoming 24" with the webcam built in. It is actually pretty hard to find on their site, you have to search for the model number, it doesn't come up when click on the 20" and larger section. The E248WFP is basically a stripped down version of the old 24 incher, only DVI input with this one, and no USB hub or Memory card. I like this idea, I have the old version which I love, but I never use the USB ports or the card reader, so this would be good for me, hmmm, ...maybe I will add a second monitor to my desk!!
I got an invite last night to the Beta of Joost, a new streaming program that allows you to watch TV from your PC, so far it looks pretty cool, they have some clips from the car show Fifth Gear, and some music clips from Much music. If anyone wants an invite let me know in the comments below, I will send you one.

This rumor has been bouncing around for a while, but it looks like it is fleshing out to be true, there may in fact be a 15.4" MacBook in the works. The other part of the rumor is that the pricing will be quite aggressive, not much more than the 13" models.
iColor have a kit available to change the color the logo on your Apple laptop, the kits are very reasonable, only $3.99 each. It sounds like for some models may be a bit tough to install, and may or may not void your warranty, so tread carefully.
Wow, I thought that my 24" monitor was big, but the 21.3" Premium Digital Samsung LCD Center from Samsung features a 21.3" monitor flanked by 5 17" monitors. I can see this being great for stock traders, maybe even programmers, but thats about it.
As has been the trend for a while, Nvidia have released a less budget crushing version of their high end card, this time making the 8800 series closer to the hands of the average gamer with the 8800 GTS. This particular model "only" features 320 mb of memory, and will be available for around $300 US.
With memory getting smaller than we can possibly imagine, it only makes sense that the readers will get smaller too. This reader claims to be the smallest, and from the pictures I am not going to argue, it looks about the same size as just a USB connector.
As I sit and type this post on a laptop that is hot enough to fry eggs, I could really use a set of these feets! The Cool Feet from bluelounge are rubber feet that go onto the bottom of your laptop and raise it off of the desk to get some air flow to the bottom of the laptop. As a ghetto mod I slipped a couple wine corks under the back of this laptop, and amazingly I can no longer feel the heat of the CPU through the keyboard.

There seems to be a bunch of these type of devices running around these days, as the release of Windows Vista approaches, hardware vendors are showing off their devices that will take advantage of Vista's "sideshow" feature. The MSI Mega Player 529 is one such device, not only acting as an auxiliary display for Vista, but as a removable media player that you can take with you to listen to music or watch videos. The Mega Player features 1GB of internal memory, and a 320x240 screen.

Phillips is joining the party with a bunch of new remotes designed to work with Vista MCE. Phillips is not a huge player in the consumer electronics game around these parts, so it will be interesting to see if these even make it out this way.
Ricavision has released details on their new Vista MCE compatible bluetooth remote, the remote features a 2.5" LCD to show the "sideshow" technology shipping the Vista, basically a suite of gadgets that display info on whats playing etc. The remote will feature both IR and bluetooth, so it looks like it will fit in to pretty much whatever setup you have.
Kinesis is about to release a new keyboard in their line, the Kinesis Freestyle, which is able to be re configured into three different styles depending on how you want to split your keyboard. As a big fan of ergo keyboards, I will be watching this one for a price to come out, and as long as they don't want $400, I will check one out.
