Now you have probably noticed that from time to time I include watches here, and I know they are not really gadgets, but man I love 'em! The new Ignition from Seiko is a smart looking chronograph with a digital display in the middle rather than the usual dials. It features a titanium case and bracelet, and a synthetic sapphire crystal. Not bad for a watch that retails for $520.

Breguet Marine Tourbillon Chronograph

Breguet has unleshed their latest watch, the Ref. 5837, a chronograph featuring a tourbillon. The beautiful 18K pink gold watch has a dial that is black rhodium plated over 18K gold and is engine-turned in a wave pattern. The 5837 uses the manual-wind Breguet caliber 554.2T movement with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 50 hours. The watch has sapphire crystals front and back and is water resistant to 100 meters.

The Arena Chrono Quattro Retro from Gerald Gent is part of a line of what he calls "wristboards", dashboards for the wrist. They are very interesting looking, and at $25,000, I should probably think about buying a car first...

Richard Mille Tubular Tourbillon '012'

Its hard to believe the the Richard Mille Tubular Tourbillon '012' watch would fit on a wrist, it looks like a building with emense structures and depth to it, I would love to someday own a watch like this.

This is a bit of a departure from the usual gadget, and more of a piece of art, Mike Libby takes insects and installs watch workings into them, turning them into facinating showpieces.
