Looks like the Folks over at All About Symbian have a bit of a crush, and it happens to be on the new Nokia N95 8GB, it improves on the regular N95 with increased Battery life, increased ram built in, and of course 8GB included (at the loss of the MicroSD card). As a previous owner of an N95 the increase in battery life is extremely welcome, with marginal use, a couple hours of Mp3s a day, minimal texting and a couple calls, I was getting less than a day of use.

Seems that the folks at samsung have something new up their sleeves, and it will include built in GPS! The i550 is based on Symbian OS S60, has a 2.6" display which should help when using the Phone in the car. The i550 will reportadly nclude quick access keys, microUSB connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, 128MB RAM, HSDPA (no word on what bands ) and a 3.2 megapixel camera. No word on pricing or availability yet. One interesting thing I noticed from the pic is that it appears that the phone has a roller ball similar to the "pearl" in recent Blackberries...
Nokia has released their GPS mapping program, Smart2go, for Symbian S60 devices for free on their website. As it happens I have just purchased an S60 device, the N73, and I am installing this software as I type.

Samsung has one sexy phone in the new F700, it is a slider with a qwerty keyboard, and features 7.2 Mbps HSDPA for crazy high speed downloads. The F700 has a Flash based interface, so you know it will be great to play around with. It also has a great tactile feature that vibrates when you touch a button on the screen, providing that missing link with touchscreen devices, feedback.
Not sure I like the idea of more moving parts in a mobile phone, but the Motorola RIZR Z8 is a slider that bends in the middle when extended. The K8 also starts Motorola's foray into the Symbian phones, I wish they would just stick to one OS.
Just when you thought mobile phones couldn't get any smaller, some enterprising people jammed a modern GSM phone into the body of a classic Motorola "brick" phone. The phone has a color screen, plays Mp3 ringtones, and is guaranteed to get you some looks on the train.

Samsung has another great handset on the horizon, the F520 has a 3" touchscreen, Tri band GSM, EDGE/HSDPA and a 3 megapixel camera. The neatest thing I think about the F520 is the dual sliding motion, one way reveals the keyboard, and the other way hides the number pad and directional pad.

Nokia has made the E90 Communicator official, coming as close to a laptop as you are going to get in a mobile phone. The E90 features quadbad gsm, Wifi, HSDPA, GPS, and Edge thrown in for good measure.

I have never used a Phillips phone, not sure I have ever even seen one, but the Xenium 9x9 is one hot looking phone. The 9x9 is a GSM Tri-Band phone, with a 1.3 megapixel camera, but the features are overshadowed by the fact that it packs a reported 30 days standby. I like the look of brushed metal, and I hope it makes it onto more gadgets.
